Every Expert Was Once a Novice.
Fuel the Next Generation of the Forge.
The Mission:
Before our students can out-print the oligarchs or build complex community defense tools, they have to master the basics.
That means hundreds of hours of calibration, slicer experiments, and iterative design. The result? A mountain of unique, functional, and sometimes "experimental" whistles.
Instead of recycling this plastic, we’re releasing it to the community as Academy Surplus.
Every cent from these mystery boxes goes directly back into the Forge—buying filament, replacing nozzles, and keeping the lights on for the next round of initiates.
What’s Inside?
You won’t find mass-produced, boring designs here. Each box is a chaotic assortment of:
Prototypes: Early iterations of the WA Whistle.
Experimental Models: High-pitch trainers, dual-tone resonators, and "low-viz" designs.
Skill-Builders: The projects students used to master various types of printer filaments and creative attempts.
The "Academy Special": Occasional one-off colors and "happy accident" filament swaps.
Why Buy a Mystery Box?
Direct Support:
You are literally paying for the filament the next student will use.
Unique Tech:
These aren't just whistles; they are snapshots of someone’s "Aha!" moment in 3D printing.
Community Defense:
Distribute them to friends, hikers, or protesters.
Note: Since these are student-created prototypes, expect character. Some might have a slightly rough "first layer" or a unique texture, but if it's in the box, it blows.
